Adventurous Denali National Park Elopement
I am still so obsessed with this elopement in Denali National Park. Ever since moving to Alaska at the end of January, I’ve been dying to visit and hike at this location. It was almost like the stars and sun aligned perfectly. I’m so freaking stoked to share these photos with y’all!
If you’ve never been to Denali I highly recommend visiting and exploring the park during your stay. During the summer months, you can expect to see some wildlife while taking in the views from the mountain ranges that surround you. It’s so beautiful! You definitely need to see it for yourself!
Our day started off with us all meeting at the visitor center. From there we packed our bags and made our way to the taiga loop trail. The trail is a moderate hike but Rachel and Ben were totally up for the challenge. Hand in hand these two walked through the woods taking in the mountain views and each other.
The sky was cast in a dark shade of grey that looked like it could drop buckets of rain on us at any moment. Thankfully though the rain stayed at bay during their adventure elopement allowing us to stay dry during our hike to our epic location.
Rachel and Ben had the cutest wooden signs made for their elopement in Alaska. The lovely couple sported them on their backpacks. While walking through the park tons of friendly hikers made a point to congratulate this sweet couple. It was definitely one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen as an Alaska elopement photographer.
We ended this couple’s special day out by Horse Shoe lake, taking in the jaw-dropping views and feeling the cool breeze rolling off the water. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day. If I could go back I’d go back in heat beat to be a part of Rachel and Ben’s elopement experience just one more time!
