I arrived at Firefly lane wedding and event venue for Juan and Rachels big day. Rain clouds filled the sky dropping the occasional droplets of cool water. Juan and Rachel remained hidden away in their rooms. They began applying finishing touches before seeing each other for the first time.
I greeted Rachel at the door while the makeup artist applied bronzer to her cheek bones, shortly after chatting with Rachel I turned on my camera. I began capturing candid moments of Rachel getting ready. She spoke with excitement and steadiness in her voice about marrying Juan. Rain continued to pour down outside the venue. Rachel remained in great spirits. Her smile continued to grow as the hours turned into minutes before she would see her fiancé.
Juan and his Groomsmen gathered around a playing card table in their getting ready suite at Firefly lane wedding and event venue. Entering the room, it got really quiet because I crashed their party. I began chatting with Juan and letting him know that it was time to start getting ready. The groomsmen began putting on ties, as well as boutonnières onto their coats.
Emotions continued to race as time dwindled down until their Ceremony. I began gathering and capturing beautiful details from Juan and Rachels day. Rachels wedding dress was absolutely stunning made of lace and tulle material with nude undertones. Their colors were shades of purples and dark blues that looked fantastic in Rachels bouquet.
Music first started to play as guests made their way to their seats then guests began chatting and catching up with those around them. Many of their guests told me that this was their first time meeting. Their ceremony took place in front of the barn at the Firefly Lane Wedding Venue. I watched as tears began to fill into the grooms eyes as he watched his fiancée walk down the aisle toward him. The officiant asked who gives Rachel to be be married to this man and the brides father said I do, as he let those words slip out he hugged his daughter and gave her hand to Juan.
The ceremony was short, sweet, and filled with many beautiful messages for the newly weds. As they celebrated their union with a first kiss their guests erupted with excitement. First with cheers of excitement, then with whistles and finally concluding with claps as the newly weds entered the reception.
The party animals then entered the reception and thats really when things got wild! Kicking off the night with toasts from the maid of honor and best man and then finally celebrating with a first dance for the newly weds. Once the dance floor opened guests began flocking and busting all kinds of moves. Everyone and their brother was breaking it down in celebration of Juan and Rachels very special firefly Lane wedding day!
At the end of a wild night I spent sometime breaking it down with Rachel and Juan out on the dance-floor. It was the perfect ending to an absolutely perfect day!
