Romantic Alaska wedding on the Kenai River

Just when I thought I couldn’t love living in Anchorage anymore these two beautiful people came into my life. George and Olivia’s intimate Alaska wedding took place at a private residence on the Kenai River. On their special day they even had a getaway boat ride making for some unique wedding photos.

These two met in college during their senior year while attending the University of Arizona. And from there the rest was history. Olivia and George shared many adventures together before their intimate day. During our first phone call Olivia spoke about their past trips to London and meeting Georges family for the first time.

On their wedding day they were surrounded by those who meant the most to them in their lives. Each person in attendance played a key role in making their wedding a success. Olivia’s mother definitely went above and beyond. She created the stunning floral arrangements made just for George and Olivia’s intimate Alaska wedding on the Kenai River.

Olivia’s dad officiated their ceremony, offering Olivia and George many words of wisdom. There were several moments where tears were shed and laughter was shared by all. After their ceremony the three of us jumped into the boat and went out on the water for some fun wedding photos.

During the reception the Olivia’s, dad had written letters over the years. Highlighting the moments of her growing up. He shared those letters with us all during their wedding reception on the Kenai River here in Alaska. I can promise you there was not a single dry eye out there on that patio overlooking the water.

Once all had a chance to eat and enjoy a piece of wedding cake. Everyone helped the newly weds clear the patio to allow for a little bit of dancing until the sun went down. A perfect way to end George and Olivia’s magical Alaska wedding day on the Kenai River.
