Homer is a small town, that sits on the edge of Kachemak Bay in South-central Alaska. While visiting you will be greeted with incredible scenery— envision walks on gorgeous beaches; and mountains that stretch high into the sky. It’s a magical place to not only visit but also a dream location to host a destination wedding.
For this shoot, we had the perfect wedding venue at Between Beaches. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this venue. Not only is this the area on the property stunning but Sarah the venue owner is so stinking sweet. She really went above and beyond for us during our stay. If you are looking for the perfect venue to host your special day definitely check them out!
The vibe for this styled Homer, Alaska styled wedding was a mix of vintage romance with a dash of Alaska style. Our wedding ceremony backdrop was a fishing net decorated with neutral-toned wedding florals that accented the natural landscape of this oceanside oasis. Sounds pretty dreamy right?
The details for this day made my heart so freaking happy. In the wedding flat lay, they included shoes, a vintage camera, and simple but elegant wedding invitations. There was even a gorgeous and unique blue wedding ring that really stole the show.
Our bride sported a unique high low wedding gown while our groom wore a grey felt suit. We had this sweet couple exploring all over the beach for this styled wedding adventure. We ended the evening by heading back up to their cabin where these two stayed during their trip. It was the perfect way to end this Homer, Alaska styled wedding!
