Step inside this beach engagement session in Homer, Alaska. Complete with mountain views, pretty purple flowers and of course Keyon and Steven taking it all in during their photoshoot.
The first part of their shoot we explored a beach front area with some tall grass and mountain views. Next we took the short walk down to the water taking a few moments to breath in the salty air. After that we made our way down to the marina where we caught their family heading back to shore. We waved and shouted our hello’s before heading to their final session location. Which was a field of purple flowers located on the side of the road.
It was such a pleasure documenting these special moments for Keyon and Steven. I loved getting to celebrate with them one more time. Especially after spending the weekend celebrating with them and their family during their Homer wedding.
It’s hard not to fall in love with the coastal town of Homer. This location not only has so much character but also plethora of cool activities to enjoy. Whenever I have the chance I love spending an evening camping on the beach. In the morning I enjoy taking a bike ride into town, grabbing coffee and exploring the spit.
And if you’re like me and love seafood then you’ll have to stop in and grab some fish and chips. As Homer is known as the halibut fishing capital of the world. I promise you will not be disappointed!
For these reasons I absolutely love when couples ask me to document there love here. I just think its the perfect place to escape, explore and enjoy one another’s company. And its only a 4 hour drive away from all of the hustle and bustle of Anchorage!!
