Ethereal fall elopement at Hatchers Pass Lodge
Painted mountain backdrops, covered in a soft blanket of fresh snow initially caught my eye as I parked my car. It was a brisk day at Hatchers Pass lodge but the hillsides were covered in a blanket of warm colored foliage begging to be explored. It was the perfect day for a fall styled elopement here in Palmer, Alaska.
Romantic and intricately detailed wedding florals with pops of yellows and soft pinks laid across our wooden tablescape. A sage green table runner along with various fruits and cheeses pulled the entire look together. The table was gently placed on the rugged hillside overlooking the Talkeetna mountains in the distance.
A calm running stream ran near the lodge at Hatchers Pass and quickly became a place to have our couple explore. Hand and hand these two helped one another cross to the other side while taking in the picturesque views around them. The fall colors and the touch of falling snow really added so much to the story of this elopement.
Our talented wedding makeup artist provided a soft glam makeover for our bride. The look was accented with soft and bouncy curls that pulled everything together providing a stunning bridal look to photograph.
Our bride wore a designer, sweetheart neckline wedding dress with long sleeves accompanied by intricate and soft lace details. Our groom wore a classic black men’s tuxedo with pointed black dress shoes. This elopement photoshoot showcased an ethereal-styled fall elopement and it was such a dream to photograph and be apart of.
As an Alaska wedding photographer fall is one of my favorite times of year. Between the vibrant fall leaves and the moody hillsides begging to be explored.
