Nestled away in lush forrest in its own little corner of paradise lies Salted Roots Alaska. The perfect perfect place for a wedding, elopement or event in Seward, Alaska. I was lucky enough to experience this first hand while photographing Biz and Thayne’s special day.

On the front deck of their red door A-frame cabin Biz and Thayne helped one another get ready. Sharing little smiles and laughs with one another while putting on finishing touches together. Finally once they were both ready they walked hand and hand to the beach for their ceremony.

As waves came calmly crashing onto the shore, Biz and Thayne exchanged vows with one another. Their ceremony took place on the beach with beautiful views of the mountains. In the distance you could spot an occasional boat passing by.

Before heading to bed Biz and Thayne sat around the campfire together. They traded out a traditional wedding cake and went with a more modern twist for their elopement desert. While snuggled close they roasted marshmallows and put together some delicious smores.
