Breezy couples photoshoot at Portage Lake, Alaska

Tabitha and Quade’s couples photoshoot at Portage Lake in Alaska. The three of us met up and hung out till the sun went down celebrating their new engagement. We not only explored the lake area but also traveled to a few of my favorite engagement session locations in Alaska. I am so excited to share their photos and story with you.

The first location that the three of us explored together was Portage Lake. The sun was occasionally peaking out from behind the clouds and leaving us all covered in a golden glow. The icy blue pond and the mountains that were all around us provided the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos.

After exploring Portage Lake we jumped in our cars and headed to our next photo spot. This was a somewhat random location that I found along the turn again arm. It provided a small field that was made for frolicking and provided picturesque views of not only the mountains but also the sea. After grabbing some shots here we then headed to Beluga Point where we ended their couples photoshoot.

Before we ended their session these two shotgunned high noons together and snuggled as the sun went down. It was such a fun, yet personal touch that they added that made their session that much more special. They even brought one of their favorite blankets from home to sit on while they watched the ocean waves crash on the shore.

I loved spending the evening with these two newly engaged lovers. Exploring and taking in all the beautiful nature that surrounds us here in Alaska.
