Intimate California elopement at the Palm Springs Windmills

This intimate elopement in Palm Springs, California was truly unforgettable. Between the glowing sunset, mountain views, and being there to witness Kayli and Jose tie the knot.

Kayli and Jose both decided that a big wedding just wasn’t for them. They wanted a day that felt more intimate and personal. After narrowing down locations one stood out among the rest. A place they had visited a few years ago when they first started dating. That special place was the Windmills in Palm Springs.

A few hours before their elopement I headed over to the location to scout it, one last time. Ensuring that Kayli and Jose would have a great spot for their ceremony. They wanted to experience views of both the mountains and windmills at the same time. Which I can happily say was delivered on!

Once Kayli and Jose arrived I greeted them with hugs. Smiles filled their faces and for just a moment we soaked up the joyful energy while the florist put finishing touches on their ceremony setup.

For their elopement florals they had a wonderful California florist who brought together their vision perfectly. Jaus of Vern, their florist crafted an asymmetric two piece arch that stood out against the mountains. Made up of a combination of pink and yellow flowers.

As Kayli and Jose stood infront of their arch they read aloud personally written vows to one another. Kayli stood wearing a long sleeve wedding dress that sparkled in the sunlight. She also sported a pair of bright pink earrings that complimented both the florals and Jose’s suit. Jose’s attire consisted of a slim fit baby pink suit from Mens Wear house, a pink tie, and brown dress shoes.

After their California elopement the three of us continued to explore the windmills in Palm Springs. Capturing all the beautiful moments from their one of a kind adventure day!
