First things first we want to apply for an Alaska marriage license. You can do this by filling out this form on this website. A couple of quick things to note when obtaining this document; there is a 3-day waiting period, they expire three months after issue and there is a $60 license fee.
Now that you’ve got your marriage license we can jump back into the Alaska elopement locations that we talked about above. There are two major airports you can fly into for your Alaska wedding or elopement. The first major airport is Ted Stevens and the second is Fairbanks international airport. If you are planning to stick around the Southern Alaska area say the Wasilla, Palmer, Anchorage area, etc I recommend flying into Ted Stevens.
