Intimate greenhouse engagement session in Anchorage Alaska

I was beyond excited when Emily and Ciarra reached out and asked me to photograph their session. They had a vision to have their photos taken in a greenhouse and I knew just the place. I took them to Mann Leiser Memorial Greenhouse in Anchorage which is one of my favorite locations for engagement session.

Mann Leiser Memorial Greenhouse is the perfect place for photoshoot especially during the winter months when it gets cold in Alaska. Inside the greenhouse there are two separate rooms that sport different kinds of plants. My favorite was the tropical room I truly couldn’t get over all of the wonderful light and beautiful plants.

I honestly can’t think of of a more perfect place in Anchorage, Alaska for Ciarra and Emily’s engagement session. It totally fit there vibe as a couple and I was so stinking glad to be celebrating this amazing moment alongside both of them. Inside the greenhouse we spent some time strolling through the rows of plants and enjoying each others company while capturing their photos.

Before Emily and Ciarra’s engagement session I sent them a styling guide to help them plan their outfits. A huge piece of having a successful photoshoot is all about whats done before hand. Thats why I always send a outfit guide to all of my couples before their shoot.
