Spring engagement session in Girdwood Alaska

I loved meeting and photographing Zoe and Kain’s spring engagement session in Girdwood, Alaska. Zoe and Kain have this infectious kind of energy that is palpable and that they share with everyone they meet. It was truly a pleasure getting to work with these during their travels to Alaska.

The evening the three of us set off to shoot their session there were clouds rolling in. Little droplets of rain were beginning to fall from the sky but that didn’t stop us from exploring this beautiful state. In Alaska the weather can be unpredictable but I promise rain or shine you will get great photos with me.

Since these two traveled all this way from Minnesota I knew I had to show them more than one pretty location. We started their session in Girdwood, Alaska where their was still a good amount of snow on the ground. Photographing the first part of their three part engagement session at one of my favorite engagement session locations Moose Meadow Park.

During our time together we also made a trip down to Virgin Creek Falls and then later ending our time together by running along the beach at Beluga Point. All through out our time together these two were down for the adventure without a single care about the weather.

At their end of their session I was so sad to see them go but I am so excited to watch them grow together even if its through a computer screen.
