I am so in love with all the photos from this Sailboat adventure elopement in Seward, Alaska. On this day the weather may not have been on our our side, but you could never tell. Sophie and Matt embraced what mother nature had to throw at us and celebrated their adventure day in style.

Driving to the harbor I noticed that there were some dark storm clouds that had begun filling the sky. I kept my fingers crossed hoping that they would pass before we made our way out onto to the sailboat. Little did I know that those same clouds would set the scene and bring so much emotion into this couples elopement photos.

The minute Sophie, Matt and I stepped out of our cars rain started to pour down from the sky. It wasn’t a sprinkle either like this had to be some of the biggest raindrops that I have ever seen. At the time I thought that it was pretty ironic like was the weather just waiting for us to get out of our cars.

With our jackets wrapped over our heads we walked across the dock and onto the boat. Once aboard we were greeted by our guide for our charter. He knew the perfect place for Sophie and Matt to say their vows. They ended their elopement adventure by touring around the harbor and taking in 360 views of the mountains from the boat.
