When mountain views and the ocean waves meet you just know it’s going to be incredible. Then, just when you think the day can’t get any better the sky fills with clouds. Setting the mood for an Alaska hiking elopement. I mean like come on. This is giving me so many wedding in Scotland type vibes. Just a moody day at one of my favorite places to elope in Anchorage, Alaska.

Adventuring and a mild hike were definitely a thing during their special day. Spending some time on the shore line while taking in the cool breeze was a must. Especially with the impeccable views of the mountains that surrounded us.

Eventually we all decided that we wanted a better view of this one of a kind location. So we climbed onto an overlook where the wind swept Mariah’s gown and blew her hair. Gary held her hand and helped her every single step of the way. Flying into a major airport like Ted Stevens is a great option when eloping in Alaska. Especially if your considering a place within the Girdwood or Anchorage area. Many locations are less than 1-2 hours from the airport. Saving you both time and money. Time that is valuable and is better spent hanging with your boo thing taking in all the moments from your very own Alaska hiking elopement.
