You know those people you meet for the first time and instantly think to yourself these are my people. Thats exactly how I felt when I met the Melendez’s for the very first time. Just totally down to earth, kind and beautiful humans were getting ready to welcome a new bundle of joy. While our plans may have changed once or twice. These two totally rolled with the punches and made the most of their maternity photoshoot. Did I mention we even snuck some couples photos in along the way? Wanna see??!
While the weather may have put us down it certainly didn’t stop us from getting back up. As a photographer I know how plans can shift based on a number of different things. The weather is definitely included in this variable of unknowns. This is why I always double check locations at least one to two days prior. Our original plan was to have their maternity session at Little Susitna River Overlook but the height of the river we opted for a location here in Anchorage.
Would you believe me if I told you that this was their first time having photos taken together?! I know its crazy right?! I would have never known if Estephany hadn’t told me during their maternity photoshoot. These two showed up looking straight model status and I swear there isn’t a single photo from their final gallery that I am not in LOVE with! Definitely loved how they incorporated their son in their session and even snuck away for some couples photos at the end of the session.
I feel like I could write a book about these two but I’ll let the photos do all the talking for me. If you loved this Alaska maternity session then click here to check out more. And don’t forget to leave some love! I love getting to read all the comments from my loyal readers like you!
